Project Overview

We transformed an empty commercial shell space into a fully operational, stylish bistro restaurant ready for opening day. This comprehensive build-out project required coordination of multiple trades and strict adherence to health department and fire safety codes. The scope included complete MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) infrastructure installation to support commercial kitchen operations, including grease interceptors, hood systems, and adequate power for commercial equipment. We constructed a professional-grade kitchen with tile walls, epoxy floors, and all necessary utilities for cooking equipment, refrigeration, and dishwashing operations. The dining area features custom millwork, decorative lighting, and a 15-seat bar with back bar display. We installed an HVAC system sized for high-occupancy use and commercial cooking load, plus a fire suppression system integrated with the kitchen hood. The space includes ADA-compliant restrooms, proper emergency egress, and all required life safety systems. Finishes balance durability with aesthetic appeal, including polished concrete floors, reclaimed wood accents, and custom banquette seating. The outdoor patio extension required coordination with the landlord and city permits for sidewalk use. Our team completed the project in just 12 weeks, enabling the owner to open for business on schedule.
